I bumped into someone when I was in Mahkota Parade on 1 May 2006, and guess who?
Nicholas Teo (张栋梁).
For those who don't know who this dude is, you must be either ignorant with music industry (at least local ones), or you are blind.
Since his outstanding performance in Astro Talent Show in 2004, which had won him the crown that year, Nicholas Teo's carrer has just been blooming since then. With a recording contract won in hand after the talent competition. Nicholas has done nothing but attracting media and public attention.
The talented singer is from Kuching, Sarawak. (My hometown!) Some of my friends actually know him in person, but I don't. Within short span of 2 years, we witnessed how Nicholas blossomed from the local scenes, then into the Taiwanese market.
He was back in Malaysia to promote his latest hit album. Also, he made a guest apperaance in Sun Yanzi's (孙燕姿) concert in Genting. Well, I am not really a crazed fan of his. So, I may not have the most accurate information about this singer.
Wondering how is his impact like to the fans in Malaysia.. at least in Malacca here? Just see these pics for yourself!

There he is. Sitting there patiently to give his fans autographs.
I was there late, so I didn't get to see any performances. It was later announced that Nicholas had only performed 2 titles before retreating to this autography session. The shortage of performance was duly due to technical difficulties.
When I was editing the photos. I noticed something wasn't quite right with the photos...
Somebody was looking up to this direction when I was shooting at this angle...

actuali i know nic teo's sis.i found out that many ppl from kuching dont like him that much, js prefer his music more than him.most ppl said he had turned snobbish.wad to do, ppl got popular so its common, in the complicating entertainment world...
yeah.. that's what i heard too. and i only get to know that nic teo's sister's bf.. is someone i know. -_-
i used to play ball with him when i was in kuching..
well, i guess there are things which are out of your hands most of the time when you have his fame.
oh u know his sis's bf too.. i played ball wif him b4 too..such a small world=)
hehe.. yeah.. pretty small. i dont see him playing that much anymore.
