fatigue

"Short Note: Looking back at my recent posts, I haven't had chance to do proper updates lately. The only posts I did were the fashion show ones, which were all done during my course week in Kuching. Sigh. "

Back in Kuching, and I'm feeling fatigue.

Tired, and sick. That's all I'm feeling right now.

For the month of April, I am only in my own office, table for accumulative figure of 6 days! I'm only in my own office for a bloody 6 days!! 6 out of 20 working days in April!!

I truly need a break from work! A beach vacation.. or maybe a KL trip.

Or maybe.. a trip to the land below the wind - KK.

Unker Allen, some 6% of the labour force in Malaysia is unemployed. Be thankful that you have a job, and take care of your health!

KL or KK? Haha, seems like you have plans. All the best for the flowers! *winks*

Nice to see you back to Kuching, Allen. You should be grateful that you have the luxury to fly around on company's expenses.

you don't go running around correcting other people's grammar/English when yours suck as well. i mean, "I'm feeling fatigue"? poor choices of words dude.

well darling jasmin,

Its funny you sounded as if you wrote that article. If not, why are you defending it? Is it not the way we reveal the mistakes so that they can improve further? After all they should not be making such mistakes to begin with.

Everyone knows the English standard in the papers is usually down the drain. Even Kenny Sia is making fun of it every now and then... and I believe many bloggers are doing the same.

You do not have to possess perfect English to spot the mistakes of others. It just, well, happens.

And you are doing it too, and worse, saying another person is using poor English, is way more insulting that pin-pointing the exact grammatical mistakes.

I think you all insult each other or others for poor english command. The fact is, you're all brought up in a multi-linguistic env and english is just your another language, and again, less fluent and eloquent compared to anyone who seriously speaks and writes it as the first and only language.

After all, it's just a communication tool...anyway, "i am feeling fatigue" and having low opinion about others' linguistic ability...is surely "good"!

anonymous,

you are very wrong in a fact that, having brought up in a multi linguistic env makes one's english any lesser than the ones having English as first language.

I am in an English speaking country, and trust me, their English is no where near what we would consider as "good" english. They may be fluent in their conversations, but if you listen carefully, they make mistakes just like we all do. And you know what? IT DOES NOT MATTER !!

Newspaper reaches out to the public, therefore, whatever mistakes they make, would be critisized widely, publicly. That, is NOT insulting.

The fact that someone corrects another person's English, without prior acknowledgements is insulting.

I am sorry if you see my comment as an insult. Let me tell you what I think instead, commenting anonymously without stating your name and email, is a greater insult.

Surely, i do enjoy the agony and impulsiveness in your defense mechanism, i like it so much, Robin (hood).

Perhaps your curiosity to know my name, compels you to ...insult me? ;)

Lorraine

p/s Btw,why do i let strangers know my email address? to invade? to intrude? to spam? to advertise? to harass? You are not that good looking enough...lol

Darling lorraine (beautiful name),

An email is equivalent to the validity of your comment.
Without it, your words are meaningless.

why should you include your email address? So that people can actually talk some sense into you, when the comment you are making is senseless.

I do not have to be "that" good looking "enough" to speak out my mind. At least I do not hide my name and email while doing so. If I dare say something, I accept full responsibility, and I make sure people can reach me.

robin must be still a single, or may be a virgin (oops...oh oh, anyway, it doesn't make sense since no email add attached, lol)

Robin Wong said...

robin "must" be "still" single.

I wonder why were the "must" and "still" in that sentence.

Oh... or "may be" a virgin.

See, you are not even sure yourself.

Yeah, Must, Still, Single, Virgin.

All that did not make any sense.

You know why? because you do not know me. If you know me, there would be no "must" "still" and "may be", because you would have known.

Simple logic, for twisted senseless minds.
